Trevor James has established a Special Interest Group to address concerns related to Artificial Intelligence (AI), which is a fairly broad topic.

Criminal justice, financial services, health and social care, digital and social media and many other aspects of society are rapidly utilising AI. Simultaneously, AI companies’ data modelling methodologies are frequently misunderstood by both users of the technology and those who are affected by its deployment. This lack of openness and accountability in AI as well as the lack of expertise can be concerning. More needs to be done to guarantee that AI is better understood and any hazards are minimized.
